This was a wonderfully friendly little b&b conveniently located on the High Street in Rye, with an accompanying tea shop. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed me to leave my bag there whilst I explored Rye, even though it was too early for check in.
Went to Hayden’s for breakfast they do the best pancakes ever rest of the menu very good good verity not the cheapest place but still worth the money always go there when in rye also lovely little shops to go to after breakfast don’t open tll 10 o’clock.
Rye is a lo
Lovely place to escape for a couple of days. Only an hour and a half from London yet seemingly in a different world. A world of “Tilling” and Mapp and Lucia. There in the centre is a delightful treasure a modern beautifully furnished selection of rooms sitting on an exceptional cafe.
Friendly welcome. Room very comfortable, clean and attention to detail evident. Comfortable bed. Great tea/coffee making tray. Bathroom spotless but towels although freshly laundered did not LOOK as white as you would expect. Breakfast as good as any we have had in any B&B or hotel. Superb.
Delicious breakfast in light and airy surroundings, cosy room, sparkling bathroom, very friendly team – I will definitely return myself and spread the word as well. And the single room (Little Indigo) might be on the small side as explicitly mentioned on the website, but I have stayed in smaller (and more expensive) rooms and every square foot/meter is cleverly used.
To Rye to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and found this little gem on TA. Great service, very comfortable and cosy room ( Mulberry ) and staff so helpful and obliging. Breakfast choice was very good and extremely tasty and well prepared.
We stayed here for 1 night, it is not inexpensive for a B&B, but the service and food match up. Our room was also really good, very well knitted out, comfortable bed, nice large tele and a lovely bathroom. After settling in, we were offered complimentary tea and cake – both delicious.
The value for this B&B is excellent – the rooms are stylishly decorated and fairly large. The bathroom is small but smartly designed. The staff were friendly and pleasant and we had the choice of a welcome tea or glass of wine. There are tea/coffee making supplies in the room with real milk in the mini fridge and cookies and chocolate.
